Mr. Held joins SolarReserve with more than 20 years in non-utility power generation encompassing project development, construction and operations in the IPP owner/developer environment. He has broad international experience in planning, construction and commissioning of state-of-the-art, conventional power and cogeneration plants. Mr. Held’s diverse professional background includes class-leading companies as varied as General Electric, LS Power, Duke Energy, TransCanada Energy, and North American Energy Services.
A graduate of the US Navy’s Nuclear Power Program, Mr. Held began his energy career as a nuclear mechanical O&M technician and supervisor on a guided missile cruiser involving extensive operations and heavy maintenance in shipyard dry-dock.
